I went to WAMS in 1991. I can never forget my 5th grade teacher, Mr. Wetz. He was a man that truly cared for his students’ education. If someone failed a paper, he would make you get your parent’s signature, and if you didn’t do that he would make a visit to your home. I failed one paper and didn’t get my mom to sign it and sure enough he showed up and I never failed a paper again. I went to WAMS through 8th grade; that summer we had to move to Fort Stewart. I dreaded that since I started Kindergarten in Kitzingen. I begged my stepdad to do four more years so I could finish school where I started at, but we had to go. Teachers I would never forget are Mr. Kowalski, Mr. Thornburg, Mr. Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. Kieth, Mr. Foster, Mr. Rooney, Mrs. Orr, Ms. Corder and Mr. Steenson. The Librarian at the time was Mr. Williamson. I cannot forget the Principal, Dr. Kroon. Another person I can’t forget is my counselor who was there from Kindergarten all the way to 8th grade, Ms. Marsteller.
