Armstrong, Angelia: American Elementary I, Frankfurt, Germany

I attended American Elementary I School. My Elementary years, 1972–1977, I learned a lot. The teachers were wonderful and caring. I remember learning to speak German everyday and one day a week we would attend the make believe German store and role play – shopping and purchasing bread by speaking German and exchanging German money. I always looked forward to that time. Another year my classmates and I collected pictures of transportation to make a book that was kept in our school library, so many great memories.
