Federal Education Association

The Federal Education Association (formerly the Overseas Education Association), was founded in 1956 in Germany by a group of Department of Defense educators. Since its modest beginnings, FEA has grown to an organization of over 5,600 members, serving in both DoDDS and DDESS schools around the world. As an affiliate fo the National Education Association, FEA represents teachers, counselors, ESP’s and other Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) employees. FEA is pround to have played a prominent role in the development of America’s overseas schools.
