Patricia Welborn

Patricia Welborn, or Pat as her many friends knew her, was born in Washington, DC, on March 11, 1940. She attended the District of Columbia Teacher’s College where she graduated with a BS degree in elementary education. After graduation she taught in the Washington, DC school system for 18 years. She joined DoDDS in 1981 and taught at the Bad Kreuznach Elementary School until it closed in 2001. She then transferred to Sembach Elementary School where she taught until she became ill in 2003.

Pat was a friendly, knowledgeable and capable teacher, well liked by her many students and colleagues. She will be missed by those whose lives she touched.

Pat passed away on May 20, 2003. Her friends held a memorial service for her at the Sembach Base Chapel on May 20, 2003.
