Martha was a resident of Attelboro, Massachusetts, all of her life. She received her BS from Bridgewater State Tech College in 1947 and her MA and Ed. D from Columbia University Teachers College. She was a member of the Murray Unitarian Universalist Church of Attleboro, a member of the Attleboro Chapter of the DAR, and a member of the Alpha-Theta Delta Kappa Gamma Society.
She was a teacher and librarian for the Attleboro School District for over 40 years. From 1956 to 1967 she taught elementary school overseas at schools in France, Japan, Morocco, Labrador,Turkey, the Netherlands and England.
Martha loved to travel, travel, travel, and was also interested in Genealogy.
