Kathleen Block Pearsall

Kathleen Block Pearsall, born in Naples, Italy, attended the SHAPE American School, 1970-73, and graduated from Monmoth Regional HS, Tinton Falls, NJ. She earned a BA in Economics at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey and in 1980 was commissioned in the US Army in the Finance Corps.

That summer she married Gilbert Houghton Pearsall, Jr., a LT, USA Infantry. Their tours of duty included Bamberg, Germany, (after which Kathleen resigned her commission), Fort Benning, Georgia; Fort Irwin, California; Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Fort Polk, Louisiana and Fort Drum, New York. Here Kathleen obtained her MST in teaching and is currently a Reading/Literacy teacher in Evans Mills, NY.

Kathleen and Gil have three children: Jennifer(18) a freshman at Mount Holyoke College, Gilbert III (16) and Robert (14).
