Dr. Francis Prichard Smith

Dr. Francis Prichard Smith passed away on August 4, 2010, in Harrisonburg, VA at the age of 83. Fran was a DoDDS administrator in Heidelberg, Kaiserslautern, Hanau and Babenhausen.

He received his BA and MA from Syracuse University and his Ed. D from the University of Southern California in 1977. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during W.W.II. Fran was a member of many educational associations and several musical choral groups.

Fran is survived by his wife Joan, his 5 children and many grandchildren.
