Madrid ES History

Prior to the 1956-57 school year, Madrid American Elementary School was part of the Madrid American Dependents School located in the Generalissimo building. The new school was located at Felix Boix 7. In September 1959, a new elementary school was dedicated. Grades kindergarten through six attended the elementary school.

In 1970, the school was renamed Torrejon Elementary School. The school then had students in grades kindergarten through five.
