Wuerzburg Middle School was located in the Skyline Housing Area of the Wurzburg Military Community. The middle school had thirty-three general-purpose classrooms with additional classrooms for home economics, industrial arts, business lab, and other special purposes to include special education services. The facility included a media center, a multipurpose room/cafeteria, and a gymnasium. The school grounds included two large patio areas, outdoor basketball facilities, playground equipment, a fitness course, and a playing field.
For the 1993-94 school year, there were 625 students in grades six through eight.
The school was closed in June 2007, and the middle school students were moved to the elementary school for the last year of the community.
