Ludwigsburg is a suburb of the greater Stuttgart, Germany, area. Ludwigsburg Elementary School was built in 1955. The school was a two-story, thirty-three classroom facility. The building included a library, a combination gymnasium and auditorium, teachers’ lounge, speech therapy room, reading improvement/learning development classroom, a nurse’s room, and a supply room.
For the 1981-82 school year, there were 922 students in grades kindergarten through four and forty classroom teachers.
The enrollment for the elementary school remained constant through the eighties.
