Heidelberg Primary Center History

Opened: 1955
Closed: 1960

In 1955, as a result of the Mark Twain Village School complex being too small for the total enrollment of the elementary school students in the Heidelberg area, ground was broken at Patrick Henry Village for a small school building for the first three grades. (This building, #4498, became the District Superintendent’s Annex.) All other students in grades four through six were transported to Mark Twain Village Elementary School.
