Tachikawa MS History

Tachikawa Middle School was located on Tachikawa Air Base in Tokyo, Japan. The school started with students in the seventh and eighth grade who were dependents of military and civilian personnel attached to the 475th Air Base Squadron. For school year 1966-67, the sixth grade was added to the school. Enrollment ranged from a low of 210 to a high of 520 students. When the school closed, the students attended Tachikawa Elementary School.
