Camp Matsushima Dependent School History

The Matsushima School was a one-room school including grades one through six. The biggest grade was the first, with five students; our smallest was the sixth, with only two students. Our teacher, Miss Costain, is a principal-teacher. Our School Board also acted as our P.T.A.; the Women’s Club of Camp Matsushima was appointed to help the teacher.
